Meet Patricia Nealy
Patricia Nealy is a dedicated advocate for children, families, and educators, bringing over 20 years of professional experience to her work supporting student success.
As a licensed School Social Worker, she has a deep understanding of the social, emotional, and educational needs of students and families. Patricia also brings firsthand insight as a parent, navigating the challenges many families face when advocating for their children’s education.
She currently serves on the Board of Tapestry Public Charter School, contributing to strategic planning focused on inclusion, accountability, and student success. As the mother of two children—an adult and a teenager—Patricia understands the importance of strong support systems for students and families. She believes every child—regardless of background, zip code, or learning needs—deserves access to a high-quality education and the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Patricia holds a B.A. in Sociology from Clark Atlanta University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation from Abilene Christian University. She is running for Clayton County School Board District 1 to ensure leadership decisions prioritize students, support educators, and strengthen opportunities for families across Clayton County.
